Welcome to sNASA!
Due to lack of government funding, NASA can no longer afford to pay real astronomers, so you have been recruited to join sNASA, NASA's student-run operation. Once you complete some basic training, you will join sNASA's latest project, Terra 2.0, where you will work to discover life outside of our solar system.
Twenty-five years ago, there were no known planets outside of our solar system. Now, with the help of the Kepler Space Telescope, over 3,500 exoplanets have been discovered. Your mission is to find a planet capable of supporting life, send a probe to the planet, and convince NASA to send a rover to explore the planet’s surface using the latest advances in interstellar travel.
Our understanding of the universe has come a long way. 500 years ago, it was accepted that Earth was the center of the universe, and 100 years ago we knew of no other galaxies beyond our own. Can you help us take the next big step in understanding our universe?
